Okay, 2005, full of hopes and fears, every year is full of hopes and fears anyway. So that was pretty redundant. It was really unusual and unlike of me spending the "prelude" of new year with cliques who seems like strangers to me last time. Other than Joanna and Weida, the rest such as Connie and Shilei were all NEW peeps to me.

Went to East Coast Park on New Year's Eve's eve. Meaning it's on the 30th Dec' 2004. Well, the Tsunami disaster did make me become slightly wave-phobic, but after cycling along the coast and standing right in front of the waves during high-tide certainly aid in striking off that phobia away.

As usual, Joanna is really over-reacting for the waves, I thought I was the only one to be wave-phobic after the Tsunami disaster, guess her phobic condition seems to be worse than mine. MUCH MUCH WORSE. Well, she even screamed like as though the wave was really gonna become a Tsunami, it's really obvious that the wave was nothing in comparison to the Tsunami and there are no signs/possibilities of Tsunami attacking East Coast during that time.

Anyway, many funny stuff happened on that day, but it's really a large chunk of input which I don't think I will say every little single thing which happened.

31th Dec' 2004, our last day for the year. Again, I went counting down with many new personalities. This is really unusual of me again, not just because of the people whom I'm counting with, but because of the VENUE as well. It was at the high and misty MOUNT FABER!

It was pretty fun on that day though it was the first time that I don't feel as if 2005 had arrived after the clock ticks after 12. Probably because of the after effects from the Tsunami diasaster. Just don't feel really good to celebrate happily away when there are still so many helpless souls struggling to stay alive for the next coming year.

Perhaps it was the right choice made by Singapore to scale down the celebrations and canceling the Fireworks display. Well, our loss of not having the chance to watch the fireworks was just so minor and pointless, it was really Nothing compared to the huge loss of the victims and family members of the Tsunami catastrophe who lost their wives and children and all of their loved ones in just ONE night.

2nd & 3rd Jan' 2005, bought many things from Takashimaya for these 2 days. Firstly, the very much long-awaited Digital Camera was finally acquired. It was a Panasonic Lumix FX7. I simply love that camera. Bought some new year clothes too. It was shopping-craze for me.

Hey, guess I will update more next time? Cos' I think I'm typing too much, Bye!
